• Patisseries for dividing dough for pastries, tarts, and other baked goods.
• Food processing plants handling dough for pizzas, tortillas, or similar flatbread products.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput can typically range from 1,500 to 3,000 pieces per hour, depending on dough type and desired weight.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with varying amperage requirements.

Dough weight range

A Koenig I-Rex Compact typically handles dough pieces ranging from approximately 30g to 300g, adjustable based on the specific drum and settings.

Footprint

The compact nature of the I-Rex series means it typically requires a relatively small operational footprint, often around 1.5m x 1m, plus space for access and outfeed.

Construction materials

Components in contact with dough are commonly made from food-grade stainless steel and other approved hygienic materials.

Automation level

These are typically automatic units, designed for continuous operation once loaded with dough.

• What type of dough is this machine suitable for?
