Koppens 4000/650 Superfry Fryer

• Frying various coated and uncoated food products in medium to large-scale production.
• Processing poultry, meat, fish, and vegetable products.
• Producing snacks, prepared meals, and bakery items requiring deep-fat frying.
• Integrating into automated food processing lines for continuous operation.

Typical capacity

For this class of industrial fryer, throughput can range significantly based on product and fry time, but units commonly offer high volume continuous processing.

Power supply

Industrial fryers typically require a robust three-phase electrical supply for controls and ancillary equipment, alongside the primary heating source.

Heating method

Units of this type commonly utilise thermal oil heating, offering efficient and consistent temperature control.

Belt width

Conveyor belt widths on Superfry models are typically between 600mm and 1000mm, influencing product throughput.

Fry length

Fry lengths commonly range from 4000mm to 8000mm, determining dwell time and overall capacity.

Oil capacity

Oil capacities for industrial fryers of this size are typically several hundred litres, impacting oil turnover and quality.

Features

Common features include integrated sediment removal systems, hold-down belts for product submersion, and non-stick coatings like PTFE (Teflon).

Footprint

Due to their continuous operation and integrated systems, these fryers require a substantial floor area, typically several metres in length and width.

• What are the benefits of thermal oil heating for a fryer?

Thermal oil heating typically provides very stable and even temperature distribution, which can lead to consistent product quality and reduced oil degradation compared to direct heating methods.

• What are the typical safety considerations for operating an industrial fryer?

Gas analyzers and detectors are regarded as essential precision instruments in pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories. Buyers typically prioritise calibration records and maintenance history when purchasing used equipment. These instruments are valued for their accuracy, repeatability, and reliability in critical analytical processes. Key considerations include ensuring proper documentation of service intervals, verifying sensor functionality, and confirming compatibility with existing laboratory systems. Well-maintained units often perform comparably to new equipment at considerably lower cost, making them attractive for budget-conscious facilities requiring validated analytical capability.
