Koppens 6000/600 Thermal Oil Fryer

• This equipment is typically used in large-scale production for frying coated products such as chicken nuggets, fish portions, and onion rings.
• It is suitable for processing various battered and breaded items, ensuring consistent cooking.
• Commonly found in facilities producing ready meals, frozen foods, and catering supplies.
• Used for products requiring precise temperature control and extended frying times.

Frying belt width

This unit features a 600mm wide belt, commonly found on mid-to-high capacity industrial fryers.

Frying length

With a 6000mm frying length, this class of equipment offers substantial throughput for continuous production.

Heating method

Thermal oil heating provides stable and indirect heat, suitable for delicate products and extended oil life. A separate thermal oil boiler is required.

Hold-down belt

A hold-down belt is typically included to ensure products remain submerged for even cooking and browning.

Sediment removal

Integrated sediment removal systems are common on units of this type to maintain oil quality and reduce cleaning frequency.

Construction material

Industrial fryers of this nature are typically constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability in food processing environments.

Power supply

For this class of equipment, a three-phase electrical supply (e.g., 400V, 50Hz in the UK) would typically be required for motors and controls, in addition to the thermal oil boiler's power needs.

• What are the benefits of thermal oil heating compared to direct gas or electric heating?

Thermal oil heating offers more precise and stable temperature control, reduces oil degradation, and can extend the life of the frying oil. It also provides indirect heat, which can be gentler on certain products.

• Is the thermal oil boiler included with this fryer?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for a fryer of this size?

• Can this fryer handle different product types?

• What are 'chain hoists' mentioned in the description?

Gas analyzers and detectors are regarded as essential precision instruments in pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories. Buyers typically prioritise calibration records and maintenance history when purchasing used equipment. These instruments are valued for their accuracy, repeatability, and reliability in critical analytical processes. Key considerations include ensuring proper documentation of service intervals, verifying sensor functionality, and confirming compatibility with existing laboratory systems. Well-maintained units often perform comparably to new equipment at considerably lower cost, making them attractive for budget-conscious facilities requiring validated analytical capability.
