Koppens CFS Superfry Thermal Oil Fryer

• Continuous frying of coated and uncoated products in large-scale food production.
• Processing of poultry, fish, meat alternatives, and potato products.
• Suitable for operations requiring consistent product quality and high throughput.
• Used in facilities producing convenience foods, snacks, and ready meals.

Typical belt width

For this class of Koppens Superfry units, belt widths commonly range from 600mm to 1000mm.

Typical fry length

Fry lengths on Superfry models typically vary between 4000mm and 8000mm, influencing dwell time.

Heating medium

Thermal oil heating is standard for this model, offering precise temperature control and even heat distribution.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a three-phase electrical supply for motors and controls, typically 400V, 50Hz.

Throughput

Throughput capacity is highly dependent on product type and fry time, but these fryers are designed for industrial-scale production.

Footprint

The total length of such a system, including the boiler, can typically range from 7m to 10m.

Key features

Commonly include hold-down belts, continuous sediment removal, and integrated oil filtration systems.

• What are the benefits of thermal oil heating?

Thermal oil heating provides very stable and even temperature distribution across the frying belt, reducing hot spots and improving product consistency. It also allows for higher operating temperatures without high pressure.

• What maintenance is typically required for a thermal oil fryer?

• Can this fryer handle different product types?

• What is the purpose of the sediment removal system?

• What does 'excellent condition' imply for a used fryer?

Gas analyzers and detectors are regarded as essential precision instruments in pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories. Buyers typically prioritise calibration records and maintenance history when purchasing used equipment. These instruments are valued for their accuracy, repeatability, and reliability in critical analytical processes. Key considerations include ensuring proper documentation of service intervals, verifying sensor functionality, and confirming compatibility with existing laboratory systems. Well-maintained units often perform comparably to new equipment at considerably lower cost, making them attractive for budget-conscious facilities requiring validated analytical capability.
