Oddy - 6 Pocket Head Roll Plant

• Producing uniform dough pieces for bread rolls, buns, and other small baked goods.
• Used in commercial bakeries, industrial food production lines, and large-scale catering operations.
• Suitable for high-volume production where consistent weight and shape are critical.

Typical capacity

For a 6-pocket head roll plant, throughput can typically range from 3,000 to 9,000 pieces per hour, depending on dough type and desired weight.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz.

Dough weight range

This class of equipment typically handles dough piece weights from approximately 30g to 150g, though specific models may vary.

Footprint

A 6-pocket head roll plant commonly requires a significant operational footprint, often around 2-3 metres in length, plus space for access and maintenance.

Construction materials

Typically constructed from stainless steel and food-grade plastics for hygiene and durability in a bakery environment.

Maintenance requirements

Regular cleaning and inspection of belts, pistons, and cutting mechanisms are essential for optimal performance and longevity. The description notes new belts and pistons, indicating recent maintenance.

• What does '6 pocket head' refer to?

The '6 pocket head' indicates that the machine can divide and round six pieces of dough simultaneously in each cycle, contributing to its high production capacity.

• What kind of dough is this suitable for?

• Are spare parts readily available for Oddy equipment?

• What does 'New belts + pistons' signify?

• Does this unit include a rounder?

Dough dividers and rounders are valued in bakeries for their consistency and labour savings. Buyers typically prioritize robust construction and reliable portioning accuracy when selecting used models. Industry sentiment reflects appreciation for machines that handle various dough types without jamming. Common strengths include durability of mechanical components and straightforward maintenance. Potential buyers should inspect wear on rollers and dividing mechanisms, verify motor function, and confirm spare parts availability before purchase.
