• What are the benefits of a brick bread oven?

Brick ovens provide consistent, radiant heat, which is ideal for creating a crisp crust and even crumb in bread. They also offer excellent heat retention, reducing energy consumption once up to temperature.

• Is single phase power sufficient for a commercial oven?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used brick oven?

• Can this oven be used for items other than bread?

• What should I check when buying a used brick oven?

Used bakery ovens are valued for their durability and long operational lifespans when properly maintained. Buyers typically prioritise even heat distribution, reliable temperature control, and sturdy construction. Key considerations include verifying heating element condition, checking door seals, and confirming calibration accuracy. Well-maintained models from established manufacturers generally command confidence in the market. Prospective purchasers should assess whether capacity matches production requirements and inspect for signs of wear in internal chambers and control systems before committing to purchase.
