Capable of printing on a wide range of materials including plastic, glass, metal, and cardboard.

Connectivity

Often includes basic I/O for integration with production lines and external sensors.

• What is Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) technology?

CIJ technology uses a continuous stream of electrically charged ink droplets, deflecting them to form characters on a product. It is known for high-speed printing and versatility on various surfaces.

• Can these printers handle different types of packaging?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for a used CIJ printer?

• Are spare parts and consumables readily available for older Imaje models?

• What is the typical lifespan of a CIJ printer?

Used labeling machines remain reliable workhorses in food processing operations. Buyers typically prioritise machines with proven track records from established manufacturers and those requiring minimal tooling changeover. Key considerations include label application accuracy, speed capabilities, and spare parts availability. Industry sentiment favours machines in good mechanical condition with clear maintenance histories. Common strengths noted include straightforward operation, robust construction, and adaptability to various label formats and container types. Purchasing decisions often centre on total cost of ownership and compatibility with existing production lines.
