NNP Stainless conveyor

• Transporting food products between processing stages, such as washing, cutting, or packaging.
• Moving packaged goods within a production line or to a loading area.
• Handling delicate or irregularly shaped food items that require gentle conveyance.
• Integrating into automated food production lines for continuous material flow.

Typical throughput

Throughput for this class of equipment is highly variable, depending on product type, belt speed, and line integration. Buyers should consult the seller for specific performance data.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz in the UK, with motor power commonly ranging from 0.18kW to 1.5kW depending on length and load.

Belt material

Intralox belts are commonly made from food-grade plastics such as polypropylene or acetal, offering good hygiene and chemical resistance.

Construction material

For food processing applications, conveyors are typically constructed from stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316 grade) to meet hygiene standards and resist corrosion.

Footprint

The footprint is defined by the belt dimensions and frame. For this unit, the belt is 1100mm long by 220mm wide; the overall frame dimensions will be slightly larger.

Hygiene features

Units commonly feature open frame designs, smooth surfaces, and easily removable components to facilitate thorough cleaning and sanitation.

• What are the advantages of an Intralox belt for food processing?

Intralox modular plastic belts are known for their durability, ease of cleaning, and resistance to wear and chemicals. They are also typically easy to repair by replacing individual modules.

• What maintenance is typically required for a stainless steel conveyor?

• Can this conveyor handle wet products?

• Is this conveyor suitable for direct food contact?

• What safety features should I look for?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
