Ram - Kramer & Grebe U200

• Large-scale meat processing facilities for comminuting fresh and frozen meat.
• Sausage production lines requiring consistent grind sizes for various products.
• Pet food manufacturing for preparing raw ingredients.
• Ready meal production where ground meat is a primary component.

Typical throughput

For this class of industrial grinder, throughput can typically range from 2,000 kg/hr to 6,000 kg/hr, depending on the product and plate size.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase industrial power supply, typically 400V, 50Hz.

Construction material

As indicated, these machines are typically constructed from stainless steel, suitable for food contact and ease of cleaning.

Hopper capacity

The integrated loader suggests a substantial hopper, typically accommodating several hundred kilograms of product for continuous feeding.

Knife system

Kramer & Grebe grinders commonly utilise a robust cutting system, often featuring a double-cut or enterprise system for efficient processing.

Footprint

Industrial grinders of this capacity typically require a significant floor space, often around 1500mm x 1200mm, plus clearance for operation and maintenance.

• What does 'completely overhauled' mean for a used grinder?

A complete overhaul typically indicates that the machine has been dismantled, inspected, worn parts replaced (such as bearings, seals, and electrical components), and then reassembled and tested to ensure full operational functionality and safety.

• Are spare parts readily available for a Kramer & Grebe U200?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for this machine?

• Can this grinder process frozen meat?

• What are the benefits of having two speeds on a grinder?

Meat grinders are valued for reliable, efficient processing in professional food operations. Buyers typically prioritise robust construction, consistent grinding performance and ease of cleaning when selecting used models. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven durability records and minimal maintenance requirements. Key considerations include motor power, output capacity and blade condition, as these factors significantly impact operational efficiency. Well-maintained grinders from established manufacturers generally command confidence in the secondhand market, offering good value for facilities seeking cost-effective processing solutions.
