Koppens BRN4500/700 Fryer

• Frying various coated and uncoated products in large-scale food production.
• Processing poultry, fish, meat, and vegetable products.
• Used in facilities requiring consistent frying for ready meals or further processing.
• Suitable for operations needing precise temperature control for product quality.

Frying medium

This model utilises thermal oil, offering stable and indirect heating for the frying medium.

Belt width

The '700' in the model name typically indicates a belt width of 700mm, common for medium to high-capacity lines.

Construction material

Units of this type are invariably constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability in food processing environments.

Heating method

Thermal oil systems provide indirect heating, which can offer more stable oil temperatures and extended oil life compared to direct heating.

Features

Commonly includes a hold-down belt for product submersion and sediment removal systems like Teflon infeed for continuous operation.

Typical throughput

Throughput varies significantly by product; however, fryers of this size are designed for industrial-scale production.

Power supply

Industrial fryers typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, with specific voltage and amperage dependent on the heating capacity and ancillary equipment.

• What are the benefits of a thermal oil fryer?

Thermal oil fryers offer precise temperature control, reduced oil degradation due to indirect heating, and can lead to a more consistent product quality. They are generally more energy-efficient for large-scale operations.

• Is an electric hoist a standard feature?

• What is the purpose of a hold-down belt?

• How does the sediment Teflon infeed work?

• What maintenance is typically required for this type of fryer?

• Can this fryer handle different product types?

Used commercial fryers are generally regarded as reliable investments for food service operations. Buyers typically value robust construction and consistent temperature control. When purchasing used equipment, inspections should focus on heating elements, thermostats, and tank integrity, as these components experience significant wear. Well-maintained fryers retain strong performance capabilities. Industry sentiment recognises that proper maintenance records and evidence of descaling are key indicators of longevity and safe operation in food preparation environments.
