NNP Rotary table

• Accumulating products at the end of a conveyor line before packing.
• Buffering items between different stages of a processing or packaging operation.
• Orienting products for subsequent labelling, inspection, or filling.
• Providing a workstation for manual sorting or assembly tasks.
• Feeding products into an automated system at a controlled rate.

Typical throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput can vary significantly based on product size and line speed, but units commonly handle hundreds to thousands of items per hour.

Table diameter

This unit features a 1200mm diameter table. Other units in this category typically range from 600mm to 1800mm.

Construction material

This unit is stainless steel, which is standard for food processing applications due to hygiene and corrosion resistance requirements.

Power supply

This unit requires a 3-phase electrical supply. Commonly, units of this type operate on 400V, 50Hz.

Motor power

Typically, motors for rotary tables of this size range from 0.37 kW to 1.5 kW, depending on the load and desired speed.

Speed control

Many rotary tables are equipped with variable speed drives for adjusting rotation speed to match line requirements.

Footprint

The footprint will be slightly larger than the table diameter to accommodate the motor and frame, typically around 1300mm x 1300mm for a 1200mm table.

Side guides

Adjustable side guides are commonly found on units of this type to contain products and direct them as required.

• What types of products can a rotary table handle?

Rotary tables are versatile and can handle a wide range of products, including bottles, jars, pouches, small boxes, and various loose food items, provided they are stable enough to be conveyed on a rotating surface.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• Can the rotation speed be adjusted?

• What maintenance is typically required for a rotary table?

• How is a rotary table integrated into an existing line?

• Are spare parts readily available for unknown manufacturer equipment?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
