Tiulmaksa - Rotary Table

• Used in machining centres for precise angular positioning of workpieces during milling, drilling, or grinding operations.
• Integrated into automated assembly lines to present components to robotic arms or other processing stations.
• Utilised in inspection processes for 360-degree viewing or scanning of parts.
• Employed in welding and fabrication for rotating parts to achieve optimal weld positions.
• Applied in packaging lines for orienting products or filling containers.

Typical diameter range

For this class of equipment, diameters commonly range from 300mm to over 2000mm, with the listed unit being on the larger side.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on standard industrial single-phase (220-240V) or three-phase (380-415V) supplies, typically at 50Hz in the UK.

Indexing accuracy

Precision rotary tables typically offer indexing accuracies ranging from a few arc-seconds to several arc-minutes, depending on the model and application.

Load capacity

The load capacity for rotary tables varies significantly, typically ranging from tens of kilograms for smaller units to several tonnes for heavy-duty models.

Control interface

Many units feature a dedicated control panel or are designed for integration with a machine's existing CNC system.

Rotation speed

Typical rotation speeds for precision rotary tables are generally low, often in the range of 1 to 10 RPM, prioritising accuracy over speed.

• What is the primary function of a rotary table?

A rotary table's primary function is to precisely position a workpiece at specific angular increments, enabling operations on multiple sides or at various angles without re-clamping.

• Can this rotary table be integrated with a CNC machine?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used rotary table?

• What factors should I consider when selecting a rotary table?

• Are spare parts readily available for unknown manufacturer models?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
