Uni Tech Rotary Table

• Used for precise positioning and indexing of workpieces in machining operations.
• Integrated into automated assembly lines for sequential processing of components.
• Utilised in inspection systems for presenting different facets of an item to sensors or cameras.
• Applied in welding and fabrication for rotating parts to achieve optimal access for robotic or manual welders.

Typical table diameter

For this class of equipment, table diameters commonly range from 200mm to 600mm.

Indexing accuracy

Units of this type typically offer indexing accuracies between 15 and 60 arc seconds.

Load capacity

Rotary tables commonly handle vertical loads from 50kg to 500kg, depending on size and construction.

Power supply

Most industrial rotary tables require a 3-phase supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with control circuits often operating at 24V DC.

Drive mechanism

Common drive mechanisms include worm gear drives or direct drive motors for higher precision and speed.

Footprint

The footprint for a standalone unit typically ranges from 400mm x 400mm to 800mm x 800mm, excluding control cabinets.

• What is the primary function of a rotary table?

A rotary table's primary function is to precisely rotate and position a workpiece or fixture at specific angular increments, enabling machining, assembly, or inspection from multiple sides.

• Can this unit be integrated into existing CNC systems?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used rotary table?

• What factors should I consider when assessing the condition of a used rotary table?

• Are spare parts readily available for 'Uni Tech' equipment?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
