What are the primary benefits of the hot air re-circulation system?

The re-circulation system, combined with a single heating chamber, helps generate necessary energy for roasting while aiming to reduce emission levels and improve energy efficiency.

How does the VORTEX system contribute to roast quality?

The VORTEX system mixes generated hot air with fresh air, enabling accurate temperature control in the roasting drum for consistent and precise roasting results.

Is this roaster suitable for different coffee bean types?

Yes, its precise temperature control and uniform heat distribution are designed to accommodate various coffee bean types, allowing operators to research and develop new taste profiles.

Can this roaster be integrated with other roasting software?

IMF roasters are typically connectable to auxiliary roasting software, offering flexibility for data logging and roast profile management beyond the proprietary system.

What kind of installation requirements does a roaster of this size typically have?

Installation typically requires appropriate electrical connections, ventilation for exhaust, and sufficient space for operation and maintenance. Due to its compact design, it is often suitable for smaller premises.

IMF RM6 Coffee Roaster – New to order SHP is very pleased to be the UK agents for I.M.F S.r.l who manufacture these roasters from their factory in Occhiobello, Italy. IMF shop roasters are ideal for micro and artisanal specialty roasteries, especially for operators and coffee lovers continuously researching new taste profiles and aromas to improve quality. The compact design allows easy installation, especially where available space is limited, and the particular re-circulation of the hot air system– together with the single heating chamber with double function – allow to generate the necessary energy for the roasting process while reducing emission levels at the same time. VORTEX Thanks to the patented VORTEX system, the generated hot air is mixed with fresh air to reach accurate temperature control in the roasting drum for a perfect and consistent roasting process. The internal air partition conveyance system allows the heat to be equally distributed internally and externally of the roasting chamber, ensuring a uniform heat transfer to each single coffee bean, for gentle and perfect roast. All IMF roasters are fully automatic, with proprietary roasting software, with the possibility to operate in semi-automatic mode and connectable to auxiliary roasting softwares. Technical Features: Kg/batch: flexible 2- 6 Roasting time: flexible 8- 20 minutes Output: up to 24 kg/h Roasting profile control Double function heating chamber Full automatic process Compact design FEATURES & ADVANTAGES OF ROASTING ON AN IMF ROASTER QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY • Convection roasting method-indirect hot air heating • Designed drum for accurate air/beans blending ratio • Single burner for roasting and emission treatment temperature control • Significant reduction gas consumption • Heat recycle system for high performance energy saving • Internal insulated pipes for safety and heat retention • Low emission levels • Stainless steel cooling tray • Independent fan for high efficiency and speed of c
