Marel 2730 Salmon Filleting Machine

• Processing raw salmon into fillets for retail or further processing.
• High-volume production lines in seafood processing plants.
• Producing various fillet presentations, such as skin-on or skin-off, and trimmed portions.
• Reducing manual labour in fish processing operations.
• Achieving consistent fillet quality and yield.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 25 to 35 fish per minute, depending on fish size and operator efficiency.

Power supply

Units of this type typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz.

Suitable feed size

Marel salmon filleting machines are generally designed for salmon weighing between 2 kg and 7 kg.

Footprint

A machine of this nature typically requires a floor space of approximately 3.5m to 4.5m in length and 1.5m to 2m in width, plus operational clearance.

Material construction

Components in contact with food are typically manufactured from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Water consumption

These machines commonly utilise water for cleaning and lubrication, with consumption varying based on operation and cleaning cycles.

• What maintenance is typically required for a Marel MS 2730?
