Capsulit Rotary table

• Accumulating products at the end of a production line before packing.
• Feeding products into a processing or packaging machine at a controlled rate.
• Buffering products between different stages of a manufacturing process.
• Sorting or inspecting small items on a continuous flow basis.

Typical diameter

Rotary tables in this class commonly range from 600mm to 1200mm, with 800mm being a frequent size.

Construction material

Units for food processing are typically constructed from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Power supply

Many smaller rotary tables operate on a single-phase supply (e.g., 230V, 50Hz in the UK), while larger or more complex systems may require three-phase.

Drive mechanism

Commonly driven by a geared motor, often with variable speed control for operational flexibility.

Height adjustment

Many units feature adjustable leg heights to integrate with existing production lines.

Throughput

Throughput is highly dependent on product size, weight, and desired accumulation/feed rate, but these units are designed for continuous operation.

• What products are suitable for a rotary table?

Rotary tables are ideal for stable, individual items such as bottles, jars, cans, small boxes, or certain unpackaged food items that can be gently accumulated or fed.

• How does a rotary table integrate into a production line?

• What maintenance is required for a used rotary table?

• Can a rotary table handle different product sizes?

• What safety features should I look for?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
