ENDOLINE BOX TAPER

• Sealing corrugated cardboard boxes in packaging lines.
• Automating the final stage of product packaging before palletisation.
• Use in food processing, pharmaceutical, and general manufacturing industries.
• Integration into existing conveyor systems for continuous operation.

Typical throughput

Units of this type commonly process 20-30 boxes per minute, depending on box size and line speed.

Power supply

Endoline box tapers typically require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, commonly 230V or 400V, 50Hz.

Box size range

For this class of equipment, a wide range of box dimensions can typically be accommodated, with minimum and maximum width/height specifications varying by exact configuration.

Tape type

This model is designed for standard packaging tape, typically 50mm or 75mm wide, applied to both top and bottom flaps.

Operation

As an automatic machine, it typically features powered side belts for box transport and automated flap folding, including the back flap as noted.

Footprint

The footprint for an automatic box taper of this capacity is typically around 1.5m to 2.5m in length and 0.8m to 1.2m in width, excluding infeed/outfeed conveyors.

• What kind of maintenance does an automatic box taper require?

Routine maintenance typically involves cleaning tape residue, checking and replacing worn drive belts, lubricating moving parts, and ensuring tape heads are clear and aligned. Regular inspection of electrical and pneumatic components is also advised.

• Can this machine be integrated into an existing packaging line?

• What are the common wear parts on an Endoline 702?

• Is specialist training required to operate this machine?

• What type of boxes is this machine suitable for?

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
