Siat Spa - SIAT PALLET WRAPPER

• Securing palletised goods for transport or storage in warehouses.
• Wrapping products in distribution centres to prevent shifting and damage.
• Stabilising loads in manufacturing facilities prior to dispatch.
• Protecting goods from dust and moisture in various industrial settings.

Typical pallet dimensions

Commonly accommodates Euro pallets (1200x800mm) and UK standard pallets (1200x1000mm), with a maximum height typically around 2000-2200mm.

Typical pallet weight capacity

For this class of equipment, a maximum pallet weight of 1500kg to 2000kg is commonly supported.

Power supply

Typically operates on a single-phase 230V, 50Hz electrical supply.

Film type

Designed for use with standard stretch film rolls, typically 500mm wide.

Throughput

A semi-automatic unit of this type can typically wrap 20-30 pallets per hour, depending on operator efficiency and wrap settings.

Footprint

Requires a floor area of approximately 2.5m x 2.5m for operation, plus space for pallet loading/unloading, especially with a ramp.

• What is the benefit of a pallet ramp?

A pallet ramp allows pallets to be loaded onto the turntable using a hand pallet truck, eliminating the need for a forklift. This is beneficial for sites without forklift access or for lighter loads.

• Is this a fully automatic or semi-automatic machine?

• What kind of maintenance does a pallet wrapper require?

• Can this machine handle different pallet sizes?

• What safety features are typically included?

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
