General - Stainless Steel Rotary Turn Table

• Accumulating products at the end of a production line for packing.
• Feeding products into a processing machine at a controlled rate.
• Buffering products between different stages of a manufacturing process.
• Allowing manual inspection or sorting of items by operators.
• Orienting products for subsequent labelling or packaging.

Typical diameter

Commonly ranges from 600mm to 1500mm, depending on the model and intended use.

Construction material

For food processing, units are typically constructed from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel for hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Power supply

Typically requires a standard single-phase (230V) or three-phase (400V) electrical supply, depending on motor size.

Height adjustment

Many units feature adjustable leg heights to align with existing conveyor systems or machinery.

Speed control

Variable speed control is commonly found, allowing adjustment of rotation speed to suit product flow.

Load capacity

For this class of equipment, load capacity typically ranges from 50kg to 200kg of distributed product.

• What types of products can a rotary turntable handle?

Rotary turntables are versatile and can handle a wide range of products, including bottles, jars, pouches, small boxes, and various loose items, provided they are stable enough to remain on the rotating surface.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• How is the speed of the turntable controlled?

• What maintenance is typically required for a rotary turntable?

• Can this turntable be integrated into an existing production line?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
