Soco Lazy Susan / Rotary Table

• Used for accumulating, buffering, or unscrambling products on a production line.
• Facilitates manual inspection or packing stations by presenting products within easy reach.
• Integrates with other machinery to manage product flow between different processing stages.
• Commonly employed in food packaging lines for bottles, jars, or small packaged goods.

Typical diameter

For this class of equipment, diameters commonly range from 600mm to 1500mm.

Construction material

Units of this type are typically constructed from stainless steel (grade 304 or 316) for hygiene and durability in food environments.

Power supply

Commonly found on units of this type is a single-phase 230V, 50Hz electrical supply, often with a low-power motor.

Speed control

Many units feature variable speed control, typically via an inverter, to adjust rotation speed according to line requirements.

Edge type

The table edge often includes a guide rail or rim to prevent products from falling off.

Height adjustment

Most rotary tables offer adjustable leg height to align with existing conveyor systems or machinery.

• What products are best suited for a rotary table?

Rotary tables are ideal for stable, individual items such as bottles, jars, cans, small boxes, or pouches that can be accumulated without damage.

• How does a rotary table integrate into a production line?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used rotary table?

• Can this unit handle different product sizes?

• What are the common safety features?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
