Vertipack - Paper Case Denester

• Used in food processing lines for automated separation and presentation of paper cases for filling.
• Commonly found in bakeries and confectionery operations for handling cupcake liners, muffin cases, or pie shells.
• Applicable in ready-meal production for denesting paper or foil containers onto a conveyor.
• Utilised in packaging lines requiring precise placement of individual paperboard trays or sleeves.

Typical capacity

Typically ranges from 40 to 120 cycles per minute, depending on case size and denester configuration.

Power supply

Commonly requires a 230V, single-phase or 400V, three-phase electrical supply, with pneumatic air at 6 bar.

Case material compatibility

Designed for paper, paperboard, and often foil cases, typically round, oval, or rectangular.

Denesting method

Units of this type commonly use vacuum cups or mechanical grippers for separation.

Integration

Typically designed for seamless integration with existing conveyor systems and filling machines.

Footprint

For this class of equipment, the footprint is generally compact, designed to fit within production lines, often around 800mm x 800mm.

• What types of paper cases can this denester handle?

A Vertipack paper case denester typically handles a range of paper, paperboard, and sometimes foil cases, including cupcake liners, muffin cases, and various food trays. Buyers should confirm specific case dimensions and materials with the seller.

• Is this unit suitable for integration into an existing production line?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used paper case denester?

• Can the denester be adjusted for different case sizes?

• What are the typical safety features on a denester of this kind?

Cartoning equipment holds strong reputation for reliability in pharmaceutical and food processing sectors. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent case erection, product loading and sealing with minimal downtime. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on servo motors, gripper mechanisms and seal tooling, as these components incur significant usage. Industry sentiment favours models demonstrating straightforward maintenance access and parts availability. Durable construction and precise automation remain key strengths. Operational history and maintenance records prove essential evaluation criteria for secondhand purchases.
