Packer - EXP108 Pallet Wrapper

• Securing palletised goods for transport and storage in food manufacturing.
• Wrapping finished products on pallets to protect against dust and moisture in warehousing.
• Stabilising mixed loads of ingredients or packaging materials within processing plants.
• Preparing goods for dispatch from distribution centres to retail or other B2B clients.

Typical capacity

Units of this class commonly handle up to 20-30 pallets per hour, depending on wrap cycles and operator efficiency.

Power supply

This unit is specified as 1-Phase. Pallet wrappers typically require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, commonly 230V or 400V.

Maximum pallet height

For this class of equipment, maximum wrap height is typically around 1,700mm to 2,200mm.

Turntable diameter

A 1,600mm turntable is common, accommodating standard Euro pallets (1,200mm x 800mm) and larger industrial pallets.

Film type

Typically uses standard stretch film rolls, commonly 500mm wide, with various gauges available.

Footprint

A pallet wrapper with a 1,600mm turntable typically requires a floor area of approximately 2.5m x 2.5m, plus space for pallet loading/unloading.

• What types of pallets can this machine wrap?

A 1,600mm turntable can typically accommodate standard Euro pallets, UK pallets, and other common industrial pallet sizes, provided they fit within the turntable's diameter and weight capacity.

• Is specialist training required to operate a pallet wrapper?

• What maintenance is typically involved with a used pallet wrapper?

• How does adjustable speed and tension benefit operations?

• Is a ramp always necessary for a pallet wrapper?

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
