Belca Semi-Automatic

• Packaging individual products or small batches in retail-ready shrink film.
• Protecting items from dust, moisture, and tampering during storage or transit.
• Bundling multiple items together for promotional packs or easier handling.
• Creating a professional finish for products in industries such as food, cosmetics, and electronics.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput typically ranges from 5 to 15 packs per minute, depending on product size and operator efficiency.

Power supply

Commonly found on units of this type is a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with varying amperage requirements for the L-sealer and heat tunnel.

Film type suitability

These machines are typically designed to work with various types of shrink film, including PVC, POF (polyolefin), and PE (polyethylene), in roll form.

Maximum product dimensions

The sealing area and tunnel aperture commonly dictate the maximum product size, which buyers should verify with the seller for this specific unit.

Footprint

A combined L-sealer and shrink tunnel typically requires a significant operational footprint, often several square metres, including space for loading and unloading.

Operator requirement

A semi-automatic system typically requires one operator for manual product placement and initiation of the sealing cycle.

• What is the difference between an L-sealer and a side sealer?

An L-sealer creates two seals simultaneously, forming an 'L' shape around the product, suitable for individual items. A side sealer creates a continuous side seal, often used for irregularly shaped or very long products.

• What types of film can this machine use?

• Is installation complex for a semi-automatic unit?

• What maintenance is typically required?

• Can this machine handle different product sizes?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
