BT Products AB - BT Stainless Steel Pallet Trucks

• Handling palletised goods in corrosive or hygiene-critical environments such as food processing plants.
• Transporting materials within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities requiring strict cleanliness.
• Moving loads in chemical industries where resistance to aggressive substances is essential.
• Use in cold storage or freezer environments where standard steel may corrode.
• Logistics and warehousing operations that demand high levels of sanitation.

Typical capacity

Units of this type commonly offer lifting capacities ranging from 1,500 kg to 2,500 kg.

Power supply

Hand pallet trucks are manually operated and do not require an external power supply.

Fork material

For this class of equipment, forks are typically constructed from high-grade stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

Fork length

Common fork lengths for stainless steel pallet trucks are around 1140mm, suitable for standard Euro pallets.

Operating environment

Designed for use in wet, corrosive, or hygienic environments where standard painted steel is unsuitable.

Maintenance requirements

Generally low, involving routine cleaning and lubrication of moving parts; stainless steel construction reduces corrosion-related maintenance.

• What are the primary benefits of a stainless steel pallet truck over a standard one?

Lifting and tipping equipment for food processing maintains a strong reputation for durability in demanding environments. Buyers typically prioritise checking hydraulic systems, safety mechanisms, and service history when purchasing used units. Industry sentiment favours models with documented maintenance records and verified compliance with food safety standards. Common strengths include robust construction, long operational lifespan, and suitability for high-volume handling. Prospective buyers should assess wear on moving parts and confirm proper functionality of tipping mechanisms before purchase.
