CONVEYOR BELT – 1300MM X 800MM

• Moving packaged goods or individual items between processing stages.
• Transporting products for inspection, sorting, or labelling.
• Integrating into automated production lines for continuous material flow.
• Facilitating accumulation or buffering of products in a production sequence.
• Used in food processing for handling raw ingredients or finished products, especially with an Intralox belt.

Typical throughput

Varies significantly with belt speed and product size; for this class of equipment, it can range from dozens to hundreds of items per minute.

Power supply

Commonly 3-phase industrial power (e.g., 400V, 50Hz) for the motor, though smaller units might use single-phase.

Belt material

This unit features an Intralox belt, typically made from plastic modules, known for durability and suitability in washdown environments.

Operating speed

Typically adjustable, ranging from slow indexing to several metres per second, depending on the application requirements.

Frame material

Often constructed from stainless steel or painted mild steel, depending on the intended operating environment and hygiene standards.

Maintenance requirements

Regular checks of belt tension, motor lubrication, and general cleanliness are typically required to ensure optimal operation.

• What are the benefits of an Intralox belt?

Intralox belts are modular plastic belts known for their strength, hygiene, and ease of cleaning. They are often preferred in food processing and other industries requiring frequent washdowns.

• Can the height of this conveyor be adjusted?

• What type of motor typically drives a conveyor of this size?

• Is this conveyor suitable for food contact applications?

• What is the typical lead time for a used conveyor?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
