    BTM/250/1275/M Single Pillar Drum Hoist

This Mobile Single Pillar Drum Hoist is designed to lift and tip at a discharge height of 1275mm. The Drum Hoist is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and is a welded construction throughout. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Drum Hoist is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure. To avoid spillage as your drums are being tipped, we feel that there should be a conical intermittent infeed cone which will locate into the Sieve Inlet and allow the ingredients to pass through without spillage.

    Drum Hoist Electrical Control

This Drum Hoist is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The Drum Hoist has ‘dead man’s handle’ control such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Drum Hoist to operate. As soon as the button is released, the Drum Hoist will stop. The control panel has the facility for a ‘Call to Run’ signal to be connected if required.
