Drum Lift
Single Pillar Drum Lift for 200 Litre DrumsThe Drum Lift is a single pillar 200 Litre drum tipper that is designed to lift and tip at an adjustable discharge height of between 1950mm and 2350mm. The Drum Lift is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is fully TIG welded throughout and operates on a ‘dead mans handle’ principle. Lifting with the Drum Lift is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Drum Lift is designed to be bolted to the floor. The unguarded Drum Lift was fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure. Gravity Roller TrackAt the entrance to the Drum Lift there was a stainless steel gravity roller track which was 2000mm long x 700mm wide. There were also rollers in the base of the lift carriage which support the drum as it is lifted. This roller track greatly assists with the loading of the drums into the lift carriage. Drum Lift Application StoryThis Drum Lift was designed to lift and tip a range of 200 Litre Drums of a similar size containing fruit juice at an adjustable tip height. |
