Drum Tipper
BTM/250/1600/M Single Pillar Drum TipperThis Single Pillar 200 Litre Drum Tipper that is designed to lift and tip at a discharge height of 1600mm. The Drum Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is fully welded throughout and is designed to be mobile on castors. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Drum Tipper is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure. To load the drum into the tipper, the operator wheels the drum and trolley onto the lift carriage. The drum will be securely retained in the lift carriage in the tipped position. Drum Tipper Electrical ControlThis Drum Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The unguarded machine operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the machine to operate. As soon as either button is released, the machine will stop. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required. |
