ENDOLINE BOX TAPER

• Sealing corrugated cardboard boxes in packaging lines.
• Automating the final stage of product packaging before palletisation.
• Use in e-commerce fulfilment centres for consistent package sealing.
• Integration into production lines for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Typical throughput

Units of this type commonly process between 20 to 30 boxes per minute, depending on box size and line speed.

Power supply

Endoline box tapers typically require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, often 230V or 400V, with a compressed air connection.

Box size range

For this class of equipment, units typically handle a wide range of box dimensions, with minimum and maximum length, width, and height specifications.

Tape width

Commonly uses standard packaging tape widths, such as 50mm or 75mm.

Footprint

An automatic box taper like the Endoline 702 typically requires a footprint of approximately 1.5m to 2.5m in length and 0.8m to 1.2m in width.

Automation level

This model features automatic flap folding and top and bottom tape application, reducing manual intervention.

• What type of boxes can this machine seal?

This machine is designed to seal regular slotted cartons (RSC) made from corrugated cardboard. Buyers should confirm specific box dimension compatibility with the seller.

• Does it require compressed air?

• Is it easy to integrate into an existing production line?

• What kind of maintenance does a box taper need?

• Can it apply different types of tape?

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
