FP Packaging Ltd - TRAY DE-NESTER

• Automated separation and presentation of trays for filling or further processing.
• Integration into packaging lines for food products, pharmaceuticals, or consumer goods.
• Handling of various tray materials including plastic, aluminium, and pulp.
• Use in high-volume production environments requiring consistent tray feeding.

Typical throughput

Units of this class commonly offer throughputs ranging from 40 to 120 trays per minute per lane, depending on tray type and machine configuration.

Power supply

Typically requires a standard industrial electrical supply, often 230V or 400V, 3-phase, with a compressed air connection for pneumatic components.

Construction material

As noted, this unit is stainless steel, which is standard for food and pharmaceutical applications, ensuring hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Tray compatibility

De-nesters are typically designed for specific tray dimensions; this twin-lane unit suggests handling two different or identical tray types simultaneously.

Footprint

Mounted on a mobile frame, the footprint is designed for integration into existing lines, offering flexibility in plant layout. Exact dimensions vary.

Control system

Commonly features PLC control with a user-friendly HMI for setting parameters and diagnostics.

• What types of trays can this de-nester handle?

Tray de-nesters are typically configured for specific tray types and materials, such as PET, CPET, aluminium, or pulp. Buyers should confirm compatibility with their specific tray dimensions and material.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• Can the de-nester be integrated into an existing packaging line?

• What maintenance is typically required for a tray de-nester?

• Does this unit come with tooling for specific tray sizes?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued for their durability and precision in automating production workflows. Buyers typically seek robust construction and smooth operational performance when selecting used models. Industry sentiment favours equipment with well-documented maintenance histories and minimal wear on indexing mechanisms. Common strengths include reliable repeatability, adaptability to various food handling applications, and long operational lifespans. When purchasing used units, attention to gear condition, bearing integrity, and control system compatibility proves important for successful integration.
