LF - Füllfix Volumetric Doser

• Accurate dispensing of liquid and semi-liquid products in food processing.
• Portioning of sauces, jams, and dairy products in packaging lines.
• Filling of cosmetic creams and lotions into containers.
• Dosing of pharmaceutical suspensions and gels.

Typical capacity

Volumetric dosers of this class typically offer adjustable dosing volumes, commonly ranging from a few millilitres up to several litres per cycle, depending on the specific model and piston size.

Power supply

Units are commonly powered by standard industrial electrical supplies, typically 230V or 400V, 3-phase, 50Hz, with some smaller models potentially operating on single-phase.

Materials of construction

Product contact parts are typically manufactured from food-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316L) to ensure hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Dosing accuracy

Volumetric systems are known for high dosing accuracy, typically within +/- 0.5% to 1% for consistent product filling.

Throughput

Cycle rates vary significantly, commonly ranging from 10 to 60 cycles per minute for single-head units, influenced by product viscosity and dose volume.

Footprint

Compact designs are common for standalone units, though dimensions vary. Buyers should consult the seller for exact measurements for this particular unit.

• What types of products can a Füllfix Volumetric Doser handle?

These dosers are well-suited for a wide range of liquid and semi-liquid products, including viscous items like pastes, creams, sauces, and gels, as long as they are free of large particulates that could obstruct the dosing mechanism.

• Is this unit suitable for products with particulates?

• How easy is it to change the dosing volume?

• What maintenance is typically required for a volumetric doser?

• Can this machine be integrated into an existing production line?

Filling machines remain sought-after on the secondhand market due to their durability and long operational lifespan. Buyers typically value models from established manufacturers known for robust construction. When purchasing used units, inspectors should verify seal integrity, calibration accuracy, and maintenance history, as these directly affect product consistency and line efficiency. Common strengths include straightforward mechanical design facilitating repairs and adaptability to different container sizes. Reliability and minimal downtime are frequently cited priorities among processors seeking cost-effective production solutions.
