• What is a flow wrapper?

A flow wrapper is a horizontal form-fill-seal machine that creates a continuous bag around a product using a single roll of film, sealing it longitudinally and at both ends.

• What does 'all stainless steel' mean for this machine?

• Can this machine handle different product sizes?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for a used flow wrapper?

• Is spare parts availability a concern for a used Ilapak Delta 3000?

Form-fill-seal machines hold strong reputations in food packaging for reliability and consistent output. Buyers typically prioritise machines with clear maintenance histories and verified production specifications. Key strengths include versatility across film types and product formats, alongside relatively straightforward operation. When purchasing used units, inspectors should examine seal quality consistency, film tracking accuracy, and the condition of heating elements. Machines from established manufacturers generally command buyer confidence. Downtime for repairs is a common concern, so availability of spare parts and technical support merits careful consideration before acquisition.
