BTM/2P/600/1100/M/G Double Pillar Mixing Bowl Hoist

This Double Pillar Mixing Bowl Hoist is designed to lift and tip a Mixing Bowl at a discharge height of 1100mm. The Mixing Bowl Hoist has a Safe Working Load of 600 Kgs, is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel and is designed to be mobile on castors. The lifting is accomplished via chains driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the one column with a crossover shaft to the other column.

Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery

The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 3mm wire, 40mm aperture stainless steel weld mesh to meet the guidelines of of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery. It encloses the machine to a height of 2200mm on the sides, approximately 1000mm on the tipping side with a pair of hinged guard doors on the fourth side. The guard doors are electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the machine from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised.

Mixing Bowl Hoist Electrical Control

This Mixing Bowl Hoist is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the safety guard. The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. The Mixing Bowl Hoist operation is on a hold to run principle so that holding the ‘Up’ push button will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, holding the ‘Down’ push button will return the Mixing Bowl Hoist to the full down position. The control panel has the facility for a ‘call to run’ signal to be connected if required.
