Mobile Drum Tipper
BTM/250/1200/M Single Pillar Mobile Drum TipperThis Single Pillar Mobile Drum Tipper is designed to lift and tip a Blue Mauser at a discharge height of 1200mm. The Mobile Drum Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel and is fully TIG welded throughout. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Mobile Drum Tipper is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure. Infeed Gravity Roller TrackThe Mobile Drum Tipper was supplied with gravity rollers in the base of the lift carriage and with a 1500mm long x 600mm wide gravity roller conveyor which would be positioned at the loading point of the tipper. The Mauser was slid off the pallet onto the roller conveyor and then rolled into the lift carriage to be tipped. Mobile Drum Tipper Electrical ControlThis Mobile Drum Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The Mobile Drum Tipper has ‘dead man’s handle’ control such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Mobile Drum Tipper to operate. As soon as the button is released, the Mobile Drum Tipper will stop. The control panel has the facility for a ‘Call to Run’ signal to be connected if required. |
