BTM/75/1650/B Single Pillar Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper

This Single Pillar Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper was designed to lift and tip a plastic drum at a discharge height of 1650mm. The Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a welded construction throughout and is designed to be bolted to the floor. The lifting is achieved by an Electrical Screw Driven Actuator mounted in the main column. The electrical actuator has a backup safety nut which will engage in the extremely unlikely event of the lift failure.

Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper Electrical Control

This Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The Control Panel is fitted with a 4 Meter flexible armoured power supply cable which should be connected to a suitable isolator elsewhere. The Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper has ‘dead man’s handle’ control such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper to operate. These buttons are monitored by simultaneous push buttons relays. As soon as any button is released, the Pharmaceutical Drum Tipper will stop. The control panel has the facility for a ‘Call to Run’ signal to be connected if required.
