PU Conveyor Belt 690x2260mm

• Transporting packaged goods or raw materials in food processing lines.
• Moving components in light manufacturing or assembly operations.
• Handling pharmaceuticals or cosmetics in cleanroom environments.
• Facilitating product flow in warehousing and distribution centres.
• Integrating into automated sorting or packing systems.

Belt Material

Polyurethane (PU) is commonly used for its durability, hygiene, and resistance to oils and chemicals.

Frame Material

Stainless steel, as indicated, is typical for food-grade or corrosive environments due to its hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Belt Width

This unit's 690mm width is suitable for a range of product sizes; wider belts are available for larger items or higher throughput.

Belt Length

At 2260mm, this is a relatively compact conveyor, often used for short transfers or as part of a longer modular system.

Typical Speed Range

Conveyors of this type typically operate at speeds from 0.1 to 1.0 metres per second, adjustable via a motor controller.

Power Supply

Units commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply (e.g., 400V, 50Hz) for the drive motor, though smaller units may be single-phase.

Load Capacity

For this class of equipment, typical distributed load capacity can range from 10 to 50 kg per linear metre, depending on belt and motor specifications.

• What are the benefits of a PU conveyor belt?

PU belts offer excellent abrasion resistance, good chemical resistance, and are often food-grade compliant, making them suitable for hygienic applications.

• Is this conveyor suitable for washdown environments?

• Can the belt speed be adjusted?

• What kind of products can this conveyor handle?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used conveyor?

• Does this unit come with a motor and gearbox?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
