Raque inline topping applicator suitable for applying cheese and other particulates to a conveyor passing below. Roll over C frame, all stainless steel. Very good condition. To dispense garnish onto a 6×9 tray conveyed on a single lane filling conveyor with tray traveling short dimension parallel to travel. Line speed will be 130 trays per minute. Topping unit is portable rollover design and hopper belt is servo driven. The basic purpose of this topping unit is to evenly deposit shredded, minced, or chopped food product in a thin layer over a container, pizza, or pie. Product is loaded into a three-sided reservoir (product hopper) mounted over a powered belt (hopper belt). The hopper belt carries product towards the product carousel and eventually into a target chute. The product carousel rotates above the product belt to maintain a consistent product height with prongs (product rakes) extending to within 3/16" of the product belt. Hopper belt is driven by a servo-motor controlled by a PLC. The pneumatically actuated product gate blocks material from being discharged until a tray is available for filling (No Container / No Fill feature). The target chute directs product towards a specific location over the conveyor.
