RECORD PANDA E FLOW WRAPPER

• Wrapping individual food items such as bakery products, confectionery, and fresh produce.
• Packaging non-food items like small components, medical devices, and consumer goods.
• Creating hermetically sealed packs for extended shelf life in various industries.
• High-speed primary packaging for products requiring a protective film layer.

Typical throughput

Units of this class commonly achieve speeds up to 150 packs per minute, dependent on product and film.

Pack dimensions

For this model, typical pack parameters range from 100-300mm length, 20-300mm width, and 10-120mm height.

Maximum film width

This machine typically accommodates a maximum film width of 720mm.

Machine orientation

Units of this type are commonly configured for left-to-right product flow.

Infeed system

Flow wrappers often feature integrated infeed conveyors, with stacking options common for certain products.

Power supply

Typically requires a 3-phase industrial power supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz.

Footprint

The footprint for a flow wrapper of this capacity typically requires a dedicated area of several square metres, plus space for access and material handling.

• What types of film can this machine use?

Flow wrappers are generally compatible with various heat-sealable films, including OPP, laminated films, and some barrier films. Buyers should confirm specific film compatibility with the seller.

• Is this machine suitable for washdown environments?

• What level of operator training is typically required?

• Can this machine be integrated into an existing production line?

• What spare parts are commonly needed?

Form-fill-seal machines hold strong reputations in food packaging for reliability and consistent output. Buyers typically prioritise machines with clear maintenance histories and verified production specifications. Key strengths include versatility across film types and product formats, alongside relatively straightforward operation. When purchasing used units, inspectors should examine seal quality consistency, film tracking accuracy, and the condition of heating elements. Machines from established manufacturers generally command buyer confidence. Downtime for repairs is a common concern, so availability of spare parts and technical support merits careful consideration before acquisition.
