PLM/125/2080/B Single Column Screw Lift

This Single Column Screw Lift has a 1200 x 1050mm platform to allow an 1100 x 1000mm Pallet to be loaded onto it at the ground floor before being lifted to a height of 2080mm. The Single Column Screw Lift is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a welded construction throughout and is designed to be bolted to the floor. The lifting is achieved by the rotation of a ball screw driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Single Column Screw Lift is fitted with a safety nut which will engage in the extremely unlikely event of the drive nut failing.

Single Column Screw Lift Electrical Control

This Single Column Screw Lift is supplied with an IP65 Control Panel which was mounted remotely at the upper level at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The Control Panel was fitted with a 4 Meter flexible armoured power supply cable which was connected to a suitable isolator. The unguarded Single Column Screw Lift operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Single Column Screw Lift to operate.

The ‘Up’ control pushbutton was mounted on the main control panel at the upper level and there was a separate push button station with the ‘Down’ control at the lower level. As soon as a push button is released, the Single Column Screw Lift stopped. The control panel has the facility for a ‘Call to Run’ signal to be connected if required.
