Witt Fan Systems A-RNZ9/560/710/2 Centrifugal Fan

• Industrial ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Material conveying in pneumatic transport systems.
• Fume and dust extraction in manufacturing environments.
• Drying processes in various industries.
• Combustion air supply for industrial furnaces and boilers.

Typical air flow rate

Centrifugal fans of this class typically handle high volumes of air, often ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of cubic metres per hour, depending on the specific impeller design and motor.

Typical static pressure

Units like this are designed for generating significant static pressure, commonly in the range of several hundred to a few thousand Pascals, suitable for overcoming system resistance.

Motor power

For a unit described with a 45kW motor, this indicates a high-power industrial fan capable of demanding applications. Other units in this category may vary significantly.

Impeller type

Centrifugal fans commonly feature backward-curved, forward-curved, or radial impellers, each suited for different combinations of airflow and pressure requirements.

Construction materials

Typically constructed from robust materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, or specialised alloys, depending on the intended application and conveyed medium.

Power supply

Industrial fans of this size commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz in the UK.

• What is the difference between a centrifugal fan and an axial fan?

Centrifugal fans move air radially, discharging it at a 90-degree angle to the intake, making them suitable for high-pressure applications. Axial fans move air parallel to the fan's axis, typically used for high-volume, low-pressure applications.

• What factors should I consider when sizing a centrifugal fan?

• Can this fan be used for corrosive or abrasive materials?

• What maintenance is typically required for a centrifugal fan?

• Is this unit suitable for outdoor installation?

Centrifuge rotors, buckets and accessories are considered essential components in biotech, pharma and laboratory workflows. Buyers typically value robust build quality and precise balancing, as these directly affect separation accuracy and equipment longevity. When purchasing used units, inspectors generally recommend checking for corrosion, rotor damage, and verification of compatibility with specific centrifuge models. Common strengths include durability across repeated cycles and cost savings versus new equipment, though careful maintenance history review remains important for reliability assessment.
