BTH/250/500/B Hydraulic 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper

This 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper was designed to lift and tip a standard 120 Litre Wheelie Bin at a height of 500mm at the edge of a Loading Bay directly into a skip and had a Safe Working Load of 250 Kgs. The 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper was constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, was a fully welded construction throughout and was designed to be bolted to the floor. This 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper was powered via a hydraulic powerpack and tipped the container by the extension of a hydraulic cylinder to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinder was fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised bin would not fall to the floor.

120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper Electrical Control

This 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper was fitted with an IP65 Control Panel mounted on the main frame at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The unguarded 120 Litre Wheelie Bin Tipper operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Tipper to operate. As soon as either button is released, the Tipper will stop. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
