What are the common benefits of using a 16-runner cooling rack?

These racks facilitate efficient cooling of products, prevent condensation, and optimise space utilisation in a production area. They also aid in organised temporary storage.

Are these racks suitable for other tray sizes?

This specific unit is designed for 18'' x 30'' bakery trays. Buyers should verify the internal runner width and depth to ensure compatibility with their existing trays.

How should cooling racks be cleaned and maintained?

Cooling racks should be regularly cleaned with food-safe detergents and sanitised to maintain hygiene standards. Inspection for bent runners or damaged castors is also recommended.

Can these racks be used in refrigerated environments?

Yes, racks of this construction type are generally suitable for use in walk-in chillers or freezers for staged cooling or temporary cold storage, provided the material can withstand the temperature.

Are spare parts readily available for generic cooling racks?

For unbranded units, common wear parts like castors are generally interchangeable. Specific runners or frame components may require custom fabrication if replacements are needed.

These racks facilitate efficient cooling of products, prevent condensation, and optimise space utilisation in a production area. They also aid in organised temporary storage.

Food handling racks and trolleys are valued for durability and practical storage solutions in food processing facilities. Buyers typically appreciate robust construction, ease of mobility, and efficient space utilisation. When purchasing used equipment, industry practice suggests inspecting structural integrity, wheel condition, and any signs of corrosion or damage. Common strengths include longevity in demanding environments and compatibility with standard facility layouts. Stainless steel variants remain particularly sought after for hygiene requirements.
