ATCO Industries MH 04

• Precisely weighing and sorting packaged goods in food processing.
• Ensuring compliance with weight regulations in pharmaceutical packaging.
• Quality control for consistent product weight in cosmetics manufacturing.
• Automated weight verification for small components in industrial assembly.
• Portion control for bulk dry goods like tea, coffee, or confectionery.

Typical capacity

This class of linear checkweigher commonly handles weights from 50g up to 500g per drop, suitable for small to medium-sized packages.

Throughput

Throughput for a 4-lane system of this type typically varies based on product characteristics and target weight, often ranging from 40 to 80 packs per minute per lane.

Power supply

Units of this nature commonly require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, typically 230V or 400V, 50Hz.

Materials of construction

Components in contact with products are typically stainless steel, ensuring hygiene and durability for food-grade applications.

Footprint

A 4-lane linear checkweigher with integrated conveyors and a rotary table will require a moderate line footprint, typically several metres in length.

Product compatibility

This type of system is commonly suitable for dry, free-flowing granular or small particulate products.

• What is a 4-lane linear weighing system?

A 4-lane linear weighing system uses multiple parallel weighing channels to process products simultaneously, increasing throughput. Products are typically fed into individual lanes, weighed, and then discharged.

• What kind of products is this suitable for?

• What is an indexing conveyor and a Lazy Sue rotary table?

• Can this system be integrated into an existing production line?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used checkweigher?

Checkweighers are valued in food processing for reliable weight verification and compliance support. Buyers typically prioritise accuracy, speed, and ease of integration with existing production lines. When purchasing used units, inspecting calibration history, mechanical condition, and software functionality proves important. Industry sentiment favours models offering consistent performance, straightforward maintenance, and robust build quality. Durable construction and proven track records across multiple production environments remain key considerations for buyers assessing secondhand equipment.
