BTM/2P/1400/4285/B/G Double Pillar Dough Tub Tipper

This Dough Tub Tipper is designed to lift and tip a 1400 Kgs Dough Tub (1670mm x 1069mm x 889mm H) at a discharge height of 4285mm. The Dough Tub Tipper is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a welded construction throughout and is designed to be bolted to the floor with some additional bracing near the top. The lifting is accomplished via chains driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the one column with a crossover shaft to the other column. The Dough Tub is loaded to tip along its long length using a Forklift Truck or similar.

Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards

This Dough Tub Tipper is supplied complete with a safety guard to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. The safety guard is constructed from 80 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 40 x 40mm aperture, 3mm wire weld mesh which encloses the Dough Tub Tipper to a height of 5965mm on all sides with a vertically opening counter balanced door through which the Dough Tub is loaded is Loaded. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the machine from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised.

Dough Tub Tipper Electrical Control

This Dough Tub Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the Safety Guard at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility.

Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The Dough Tub Tipper operation is latched so that pressing the ‘Up’ push button once will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, after an adjustable time, the Dough Tub Tipper will return to the full down position. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
