BTM/200/1200/M Single Pillar Mixing Bowl Dumper

This Single Pillar Mixing Bowl Dumper is designed to lift and tip a 140 Quart Hobart Mixing Bowl at a discharge height of 1200mm. The Mixing Bowl Dumper is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and is a welded construction throughout. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Mixing Bowl Dumper is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure.

Mixing Bowl Dumper Electrical Control

This Mixing Bowl Dumper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site.

The unguarded Mixing Bowl Dumper operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Mixing Bowl Dumper to operate. As soon as either button is released, the Mixing Bowl Dumper will stop. This will allow the operators to stop the tipping action at any angle for tipping into the Plastic Trays. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
