BTM/200/2000/M Single Pillar Mixing Bowl Lifter

This Single Pillar Mixing Bowl Lifter is designed to lift and tip a 60 Quart Hobart Mixing Bowl at a discharge height of 2000mm. The Mixing Bowl Lifter is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and is a welded construction throughout. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Mixing Bowl Lifter is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure.

Mixing Bowl Lifter Electrical Control

This Mixing Bowl Lifter is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site.

The unguarded Mixing Bowl Lifter operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Mixing Bowl Lifter to operate. As soon as either button is released, the Mixing Bowl Lifter will stop. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
