BTM/300/1850/M Single Pillar Tote Bin Tippler

This Single Pillar Tote Bin Tippler is designed to lift and tip a 200 Litre tote bin at a discharge height of 1975mm. The Tote Bin Tippler was manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, was a welded construction throughout and was designed to be mobile on castors with a low profile at the front. The Tote Bin Tippler was fitted with an extended tipping chute which also narrowed down at the end. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The unguarded Tote Bin Tippler is fitted with our unique safety latch which engages automatically in the extremely unlikely event of a lift chain failure.

Tote Bin Tippler Electrical Control

This Tote Bin Tippler is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The unguarded Tote Bin Tippler operates on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Tote Bin Tippler to operate. As soon as either button is released, the Tote Bin Tippler will stop. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
