Deighton - 200mm Deighton Coating Line

• Applying a liquid coating (e.g., batter, tempura) to meat products prior to further processing.
• Creating a uniform layer of breadcrumbs or predust on various meat items.
• Processing products such as chicken nuggets, schnitzels, fish fillets, and other prepared meat items.
• Integrating into larger production lines for automated food processing.

Belt width

This unit features a 200mm belt, suitable for smaller to medium-scale production or specific product dimensions.

Line components

Typically includes an enrober, preduster, and breader, allowing for multi-stage coating processes.

Throughput

Throughput for this class of equipment is dependent on product size and belt speed, commonly ranging from hundreds to thousands of pieces per hour.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with specific amperage requirements varying by model.

Materials of construction

Food-grade stainless steel is standard for contact parts to ensure hygiene and durability.

Footprint

A complete coating line, even a compact 200mm unit, will require a significant linear space within a processing facility.

• What types of coatings can this line apply?

This line is designed for applying liquid coatings via the enrober and dry coatings (predust, breadcrumbs) via the preduster and breader sections.

• Is this line suitable for products other than meat?

• What maintenance is typically required for a coating line?

• Can the speed of the belt be adjusted?

• What spares are typically needed for a Deighton coating line?

Meat coating equipment holds a solid reputation for improving product consistency and presentation in poultry and meat processing operations. Buyers typically prioritize even coating application, ease of cleaning, and durability of contact surfaces when selecting used units. Key strengths include reduced product waste, faster processing speeds, and minimal operator intervention required. Potential purchasers should examine coating drums or belts for wear, verify spray nozzle functionality, and confirm electrical and mechanical components operate smoothly. Well-maintained machines generally deliver reliable performance in demanding production environments.
