• Used in food processing plants for manual packing of products after sorting or processing.
• Integrated into production lines for assembly and packaging of small components or finished goods.
• Utilised in pharmaceutical facilities for secondary packaging or inspection tasks.
• Commonly found in logistics and fulfilment centres for order preparation and dispatch.
• Applicable in various manufacturing environments requiring a dedicated workstation for finishing or packing.

Typical footprint

For this class of equipment, dimensions typically range from 1000mm to 2000mm in length and 600mm to 900mm in width, depending on the specific design.

Working height

Commonly found at ergonomic working heights, typically adjustable or fixed around 850mm to 950mm.

Material construction

Often constructed from stainless steel (grade 304 or 316) for hygiene and durability, especially in food and pharmaceutical applications.

Load capacity

A clip-on packing table typically supports static loads of 50kg to 150kg, suitable for manual packing operations.

Power supply

This type of equipment is typically unpowered, serving as a static workstation. If integrated with accessories, it may require a standard single-phase electrical supply (e.g., 230V, 50Hz).

Features

May include features such as adjustable feet, integrated waste chutes, or provisions for attaching packing tools and materials.

• What are the common benefits of using a clip-on packing table?

Clip-on packing tables offer flexibility in workstation setup, allowing for quick integration into existing lines or reconfiguration as production needs change. They are designed to improve ergonomic efficiency for manual packing tasks.

• Is this type of table suitable for cleanroom environments?

• Can these tables be customised or modified?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used packing table?

• How does a 'clip-on' design differ from a standard packing table?

Food processing work tables are valued for durability and hygiene compliance. Buyers typically prioritize stainless steel construction, which resists corrosion and withstands frequent cleaning. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting surface condition for damage or staining is essential, along with verifying stability of legs and joints. Industry sentiment reflects appreciation for robust build quality and ease of maintenance. Second-hand units often represent strong value, provided they meet food safety standards and structural integrity remains sound.
