What types of products can this equipment coat?

This category of equipment is suitable for coating various meat products, poultry, fish, and plant-based alternatives with dry flavourings, spices, and crumbs.

How is the seasoning applied to the product?

Seasoning is typically fed from a vibrating hopper via a variable speed auger, allowing for a controlled and consistent application onto the product or into a flavour curtain.

Is this equipment easy to clean?

Units are generally designed with hygiene in mind, often featuring accessible components and food-grade materials to facilitate cleaning and minimise cross-contamination.

Can the seasoning application rate be adjusted?

Yes, most flavour applicators in this class feature variable speed controls for the auger, enabling precise adjustment of the seasoning flow rate to suit different products and desired coating levels.

What maintenance is typically required?

Routine maintenance commonly involves cleaning, checking moving parts for wear, and ensuring electrical connections are secure. Specifics will depend on the manufacturer's guidelines.
